Vio joined The Paris Photographer in 2018, after starting out as a wedding photographer. In Paris he has become one of the team’s surprise proposal experts, with hundreds of proposals and engagement sessions behind him. Couples describe the same experience in review after review: he breaks the ice with a joke, gives clear direction on posing, and checks every detail before pressing the shutter, from a jacket collar to a stray strand of hair. A proud father of two teenage boys, he brings the same patience to family moments, and he also photographs pre-wedding shoots, honeymoons, maternity sessions, quinceañeras, and solo travelers. He is fluent in English and French.
Vio’s style is romantic, light and airy, and timeless. His home ground is the Louvre and everything around it: Palais Royal, the Tuileries Garden, Place Vendôme, and the Seine riverside, where the architecture and the morning light do half the work. For clients who want a grand view, he often adds the Alexandre III Bridge with its sweeping perspective of the Eiffel Tower.

We were absolutely blown away with our experience!
Vio and his assistant were so friendly and accommodating. I was a bit nervous but they made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. Vio had jokes and made us feel like an actual friend. I was concerned that two hours wouldn’t be enough, but Vio is obviously a pro, and was able to take us to several spots to get amazing shots. When we got our photos, we literally cried because they were so beautiful. He coached us so that we got good poses and angles. Having an assistant was well worth the small extra expense. He held our bag and items and took a ton of photos and videos with my phone (which were also amazing!). My only regret is that we didn’t invite them to go get drinks after, because we felt such a strong bond with them. We are so glad that we spent the money on this, the photos and memories are priceless. Merci beaucoup!

If you’re looking for a photographer for anything to do with engagement or weddings in Paris, THIS is who you need to go with! Every step from booking the appointment to receiving the photos is very easy and has been setup in a manner that is very professional. Vio was our photographer for a surprise engagement that my (now) fiancé planned and he was so delightful! Very cheerful, very fun and very respectful. He made sure to ask if we were comfortable with certain poses (such as kissing) before proceeding with asking us to do them. Plus, he’s got a creative eye which is very important to us.
