A sunrise engagement session with Vio, in the most cinematic ten-minute walk in Paris. We started on the black-and-white Colonnes de Buren at Palais Royal (yes, you’re allowed to climb one for a kiss), then drifted through the honey-stone galleries before the city woke up. By the time we reached the Louvre, the sun was pouring gold through the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, and we had the Pyramid and the endless arches of the Cour Carrée almost entirely to ourselves. If you take one thing from this gallery: book the first hour of light, wear something light and simple against all that limestone, and let the architecture do the rest.
