Daniel started out as an event photographer — a world with no second takes, where the speech, the first dance, the big surprise each happen exactly once, and the photographer either has the shot or doesn’t. It turned out to be the perfect training for proposals. Whatever the moment does, Daniel stays calm, stays invisible, and gets it.
Every proposal is prepared seriously. He scouts the location ahead of time, agrees the exact spot and a discreet signal with you, and on the day blends in like any other visitor — paparazzi-style, unnoticed until the yes. Patient and reassuring, he takes the time to walk you through every step beforehand, which is why more than one groom-to-be has told us Daniel was the calmest person at their own proposal.
Fluent in English, French and Portuguese — and Brazilian at heart after five years living in Brazil — Daniel cares deeply about the couples he photographs. For him the pictures matter because the moment does: one knee, one question, and one chance to keep it forever.

We had our engagement photos taken by Daniel from The Paris Photographer, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment we met him, Daniel was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away — especially as travelers from out of town.
