A surprise proposal inside the Librairie des Alpes, a rare-books shop from 1933, photographed by Lena. He had a photo book of their story planted on the shelf; she found it browsing, and he was already on one knee. From there the session wandered through the couple’s Paris: the bouquinistes along the Seine, a café corner, the quay by the Musée d’Orsay, and the Tuileries in full spring, cherry blossoms and tulips included. Proof that the most personal proposal spot in Paris might not be a monument at all.
